Heatfit - Headed - M3

Headed Heatfit inserts are precision manufactured in brass to provide strong, durable threads in thermoplastics, plastic injection mouldings and 3D printed components. Developed with an opposing herringbone knurl on the outside, these inserts deliver exceptional torque resistance and pull-out performance by maximising surface grip during installation.

The headed design helps increase overall insert performance while also aiding electrical contact applications where conductivity is required. Each insert also features a pilot end to assist with accurate alignment and smooth insertion into drilled or moulded holes.

Designed for installation using either direct heat or ultrasonic methods, Headed Heatfit Inserts are ideal for electronics, automotive and engineering applications. For best results, we recommend using a dedicated Heatfit installation machine, which precisely heats the insert to melt the surrounding plastic for a secure and consistent fit.
