Heatfit - Unheaded - M10

Unheaded Heatfit inserts are precision manufactured in brass to provide strong, reliable threads in thermoplastics, plastic injection mouldings and 3D printed components. Designed with an opposing herringbone knurl on the outside diameter, these inserts deliver excellent torque resistance and pull-out performance by maximising grip within the plastic during installation.

The unheaded design allows the insert to sit flush within the application, making it ideal where a low-profile finish or limited installation space is required. Each insert also features a pilot end to assist with accurate alignment and smooth insertion into drilled or moulded holes.

Suitable for installation using either direct heat or ultrasonic methods, Unheaded Heatfit Inserts are widely used across electronics, automotive and engineering applications. For consistent and reliable installation, we recommend using a dedicated Heatfit installation machine, which precisely heats the insert to melt the surrounding plastic for optimum retention while helping reduce the risk of damage caused by uncontrolled heating.
