Mouldfit - M2.5

Mouldfit inserts are precision manufactured in brass and designed to be moulded directly into thermoplastics, thermoset plastics and plastic injection mouldings during the manufacturing process. Unlike post-mould installed inserts, Mouldfit inserts become an integral part of the component, providing strong, permanent metal threads with excellent retention performance.

The external design incorporates three opposing herringbone knurled bands, engineered to improve grip within the plastic and enhance resistance against both rotational torque and pull-out forces. A blind-ended construction also helps prevent plastic entering the internal thread during moulding, ensuring clean and dependable thread engagement after production.

Their durable brass construction makes Mouldfit inserts ideal for high-volume electronics, automotive and engineering applications where secure threaded fastening and consistent performance are essential.
