Pressfit - Unheaded - M3

Our Unheaded Pressfit inserts are precision- manufactured brass threaded inserts designed to create strong, wear-resistant threads in plastic components without the need for heat or ultrasonic installation. Ideal for hard and brittle plastics, the sharp precision knurl pattern cuts cleanly into the parent material, minimising radial stress and helping to reduce the risk of cracking during assembly.

The spiral knurl design causes the insert to rotate as it is pressed into place, cutting its own path into the plastic for a secure and consistent fit. The unheaded design allows for a flush installation, making these inserts ideal for applications where a protruding flange is not required or where installation space is limited.

Suitable for electronics enclosures, moulded plastic parts, automotive components, consumer products and industrial assemblies, these brass inserts can be installed quickly and consistently using manual or pneumatic press equipment.
