Our Unheaded Slotted Pressfit inserts are precision-engineered brass press-in expansion inserts designed to create strong, durable threads in plastic components. Featuring a slotted body and external diamond knurl pattern, these inserts provide excellent pull-out resistance and anti-rotation performance in hard plastics, thermoset materials and composites.

During installation, the slotted section compresses and expands against the surrounding material, creating a secure mechanical lock within the host component. The sharp diamond knurl cuts into the plastic surface to maximise torque resistance and help prevent insert rotation under load. Together, these features deliver reliable retention while maintaining the integrity of the surrounding material.

The unheaded design allows for a flush-fitting installation, making these inserts ideal for applications where a protruding flange is not required or where space is limited.
