The Regular Screwfit insert is a brass self-tapping threaded insert engineered to provide strong, reliable metal threads in plastics and composite materials. Designed for post-mould installation, these screw-in inserts feature three cutting flutes along the external thread profile, creating a balanced cutting action that reduces installation stress while delivering secure thread engagement.

Suitable for cold installation into most grades of thermoplastics, thermosets and composite materials, the Regular Screwfit Insert offers excellent torque resistance and pull-out strength, making it ideal for demanding applications where a durable, reusable thread is required. The unheaded design enables a flush-fit finish, providing a clean and professional appearance once installed.

Commonly used in automotive assemblies, electronics enclosures, industrial equipment and consumer products, the Regular length provides increased thread engagement compared to the Short version. For lighter-duty applications, choose the Short Screwfit insert, or select the Long Screwfit insert where maximum retention and load-bearing performance are required.
