Our thread reducer inserts offer a fast and low-cost way to repair damaged, thread-stripped holes or to reduce the thread size of a pre-drilled hole. Perfect for applications requiring thread size conversion, these inserts reduce larger threaded holes to accept smaller fasteners, offering maximum flexibility in design and repair.
They’re easy to install and can increase thread strength in weaker or softer materials such as aluminium, brass, and hard plastics.
